3.1.1Enhance identity governance

Control family: Logical Components of Zero Trust Architecture

Control description

For this approach, enterprise resource access policies are based on identity and assigned attributes. The primary requirement for resource access is based on the access privileges granted to the given subject. Other factors such as device used, asset status, and environmental factors may alter the final confidence level calculation (and ultimate access authorization) or tailor the result in some way, such as granting only partial access to a given data source based on network location.

How to implement

Coming in phase 2Step-by-step guidance for implementing this control on Microsoft Azure, using services such as Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Entra ID. It will be matched to your environment.
